i’m going to try to start posting 5 things that happened each day that i liked in an effort to promote more positivity. so, today:
1.) woke up in atlantic city and laughed a lot
2.) laid in bed and discussed relationships and personalities with a good friend
3.) got a new fuckin’ haircut that i think i like, a la the jazz age.
4.) ate frozen yogurt and saw a katrina documentary

i think that i’m grumpy/sleepy/sad because i’m losing a friend and not even a week ago we were still pretty good friends.

while i was getting my bi-weekly manicure today, there were these two girls getting mani/pedis who were about my age, maybe older, talking nonstop. one girl was telling this story about her little brother, who is 13, who rides the bus to school. apparently, he stayed home sick the other day and a girl who gets on at his bus stop asked around where he was that day and found out he was home sick....
