Here are the rules: Don’t take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you’ve read that will always stick with you. They don’t have to be the greatest books you’ve ever read, just the ones that stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than 15 minutes.

a friend of mine is interning in salinas for a year, and she went to monterey to go whale watching and i was like “oh man, remember when dolores saw the whale in she’s come undone?” no one gets it. i keep wondering if oprah’s book club selections are just a secret shame.

i’m glad you laughed, considering it was just true. dessert wine and sleeping pills and a constant need for attention? hello, neely o’hara. it’s disgusting; i think my birth certificate is false and i’m actually 34. there’s no other explanation.

green apple is ON. zeitgeist is off. (kidding, i had a blast.) i should go to city lights too at some point, just on principle. and that weird bar in oakland that’s still uneven from the 1906 earthquake where jack london got drunk on the reg.

wow, maybe i should just be a bay area tour guide. this is getting pathetic. one month; see you soon!

haha! yeah. we need to do something in the daylight. i love green apple but city lights definitely has some history.

dude i’ve never even heard of that place in oakland. we are going. omg i need to take you to this little restaurant in oakland called rudy can’t fail where all the menu items are named after punk rock songs. i almost died.

you really should be. you know more than me. shit. this is turning into one of your pet peeves where people have tumblr convos. haha. i just need to fucking email you.

haha, i keep shortening it so it’s not a pet peeve. listen, i’m really good at justifying things for my own sanity. this is fine.

the jack london place is called heinold’s first and last chance saloon. but, i said this before: i’m not going to oakland! for the longest time i thought the BART just went across the bay bridge like our train does to new jersey, but learned last week it goes under the bay and i am NOT having that. i also don’t take the train to new jersey because the place is disgusting. weird, similarities abound.
