i don’t agree with any of this. maybe it’s because i work in the adult industry, but porn isn’t supposed to be reality. it’s a fantasy world. in fact, it’s the only fantasy world i’ve seen that celebrates and appreciates all types of people. there isn’t one specific “formula” for all pornos - you’re just accustomed to what you’ve been exposed to in mainstream ideas of porn. you know, the jenna jamesons of the world. yeah, that’s a huge part of our market but so is mature, or clothed female naked male, or humiliation scenes where the women are degrading the men. there’s literally a niche for everything; not every chick has long fingernails or fake boobs or does ass-to-mouth. look, everyone has their own ideas of what’s sexy and what isn’t. i’m not saying i agree with everything i see but you have to understand that these are just fantasies, so who am i to say “let’s do away with your fantasy?” some people are still racist, it’s a fact, but they get off on those “creepy” blacks-on-blondes or cuckolds. some men want to degrade women but would never dare do it, so they watch it in porn. i’d rather someone indulge a young girl fantasy by jerking off to some “teen” (who is probably 28 and just has an A cup) in pigtails than finding real teen girls to corrupt and coerce. i’m not interested in latex fetish or feet or watersports, but i’m not saying anyone should “do away with” those things.

as for ron jeremy, he sometimes shoots scenes but it’s mostly just press now. my old company owned his “rights” and we’d have him sign for us at consumer shows and attend our events. he’s a nice guy but i don’t think he knows how to be anything but “ron jeremy” the brand. he remembers every detail of his storied career and he’ll tell you all about it - and then he usually falls asleep at the dinner table.
